Let´s your Dreams Come True with this special rare find of smallest size 9 Bebe by Emile Jumeau known as " Bebe Triste" or " Long Face Jumeau " made in France about 1885.
A rare model which was designed and sculpted by the great French artist " Carrier Belleuse " on commission from Maison Jumeau and is now known as " Bebe Triste " in reference to her sad expression !
The size 9 is the smallest and rarest size of this wonderful dolls with his so sad facial expression !!

Very beautiful original antique Huret era French Poupee bonnet , the flat topped cream straw bonnet has deep sides and slightly slanted brim .
Hand woven of narrow straw bands and pretty decorate with cream silk ribbons which goes around the hat . On silk bow and flowers bouquet ornate the hat as finishing touch outside and inside is the straw brim complete covered with silk and muslin lined. On tiny hand painted signature was found inside the brim.
