Rare Bisque Bebe Printemps by Jumeau Factory Special Series / 1890

It´s a very beautiful and rare to find French bisque Bebe ... called " Bebe Printemps " from Jumeau factory circa 1890 from a special series of commissioned Bebe´s from Jumeau for luxury Paris department stores . For different department stores in Paris like Printemps , Louvre Store , Samaritaine and other of this produced the Jumeau factory a special bisque Bebe with original Jumeau body but which was never was mark by Jumeau . Each department store Bebe get a special signature on the head and a characteristic Jumeau artist checkmarks.

My lovely 17,5" ( 45 cm ) Bebe was special produced for Paris Printemps department store ...... has finest quality bisque socket head with deep modeling and pretty blue glass paperweight inset eyes . Dark encircling eyeliner , painted lashes and brush - stroked and multi-feathered brows. Has accented nostrils and eye corners , closed mouth with outlined lips . Pierced ears with pale pink glass earrings and original blonde original hand made mohair wig over cork pate.

Generally excellent bisque condition , free of damage , chip , hairline or repair . Note a very fine factory flaw fire line behind at one of her ears .... very hard to see and not disturbing ( please see my last picture )

She has here original French composition and wooden fully jointed body with original body finish by Jumeau factory but typical without Jumeau marks.

Wearing very beautiful with antique baby pink silk blouse and muslin sleeve lose dress , silk wire bonnet in condition as is , Jumeau socks and French shoes , finally antique undergarments.

An original Bebe Printemps is rare to find and a great treasure for your doll collection , special if you a fan of Maison Jumeau :))
