From a private home comes little " Violette" with her trousseau by Samaritaine the Paris Department Store .
Violette is a very cute 9" ( 23 cm ) little bisque Bebe made for France circa 1900 and is in generally perfect condition , has fine quality of modeling with shy expression , lovely pale bisque and painting , original body and lovely clothing ! All preserved in her Paris Department store presentation box by " Samaritaine " included her trousseau , special rare to find and in wonderful perfect condition !
Dolls like this was offered at 19th. century by Etrennes catalogs of the Paris department stores !!
The bisque socket head Bebe has plump facial modeling with blue glass sleep eyes , has fine lushly mohair lashes and painted ones under her eyes , brush stroked and feathered brows and small open mouth with tiny teeth row between her fine outlined lips . Pierced ears with original earrings and nicely original mohair wig over cork pate !
Made for the French market at 1900 , has generally excellent condition of bisque .... free of damage , chip or hairline !!
She has her original composition and wooden fully jointed body with original body finish in near mint condition !
Violette is preserved with her lovely trousseau in the Paris store box and wears a pretty set on under garments with stocking and tiny shoes . Has a beautiful cotton dress with tiny straw bonnet ...
To her trousseau belongs her chemise and a special cute silk corset , a light blue dresses and a bonnet , very cute and rare swimming outfit with bonnet , a little bag and some other how you can see on my pictures !!
Has all included good condition to age :)... the clothing us un-washed and a little dusty !!
Box size are : 13" x 9,5 " ( 33 x 24 cm )
Cute and rare to find small child like Darling .... all perfect and ready to display in her wonderful presentation ....!
