What a stunning and rare doll she is ..... an very beautiful early period Bebe by Maison Jumeau size 2 ( 10,5 " / 27 cm ) ... one of the earliest Bebe with delicate pale pressed bisque with rich spiral threading almond shaped eyes and beautifully painted features , original fur wig and body finish , wearing superb original couture costume by Ernestine Jumeau with matching bonnet .

Very rare small size Bebe with finest quality of pressed bisque socked head of pale quality with beautiful almond shaped blue glass enamel inset eyes which has rich spiral threading , dark eyeliner and fine painted lashes.

Fine brush-stroked and feathered brows and closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips , sweet dimpled chin , pierced ears with factory earrings and beautiful original fur wig over cork pate....

Incised head mark at back ..... 2 and artist check mark by Maison Jumeau ..... France circa 1878 / 80

She has an wooden fully jointed body with original body finish and mark at back stamped in blue by Maison Jumeau !! ... to note one missing finger tip ..

This beautiful and rare doll has generally excellent condition .... free of damage , chip , repair or hairline .

Wearing wonderful and special rare original couture costume by Ernestine Jumeau in typical Jumeau red and ecru color ( has condition as is ) , set of under garments with Jumeau stocking and French booties. A lovely ecru silk bonnet are the finishing touch of her wonderful outfit !!
