Pretty " Helene " from privat Family in France

From a private family in France we could bring home " Helene " a most beautiful 24,5 " ( 62 cm ) doll which has rare mark 939 by Simon and Halbig in her original generally excellent condition with special rare almond shaped eyes and cute facial expression !!

Beautiful bisque socket head of excellent and pale quality with almond shaped dark blue inset enamel eyes . She has fine painted lower lashes and pretty brush-stroked details of painted brows , accented nostrils and eye corners and an small open mouth with shaded and outlined lips with funny three square porcelain teeth.

Lovely dimpled chin and sweet full cheeks. Pierced ears with original earrings and she owns her original lovely blonde mohair wig over cork pate.

Comments : Simon and Halbig circa 1890th.

Generally excelled bisque condition .... free of damage , hairline or repair !! To note a small wig pull chip on her head crown and a tiny earring hole chip , both are not disturbing !!

Some of this rare to find bisque heads was found on French body´s , special the dolls which was found in France !! Helene owns her original French composition and wooden eight - loose - ball body with original body finish and straight wrists with beautiful modeled fingers. Body mark at back with blue Jumeau stamp ....

She wears her original under garments with stocking , a very nice dress with flowers print ( has condition as is ) and a matching color velvet bonnet. Finally a pair booties by Alart , each sole marked by hand of her little owner before with her name " Helene " :))

Very beautiful girl from a private family , rare to find and ready to display and enjoy if you like to give Helene a new home !!
