Rarest size 9 Bebe Triste by Emile Jumeau in lovely silk Costume

Let´s your Dreams Come True with this special rare find of smallest size 9 Bebe by Emile Jumeau known as " Bebe Triste" or " Long Face Jumeau " made in France about 1885.

A rare model which was designed and sculpted by the great French artist " Carrier Belleuse " on commission from Maison Jumeau and is now known as " Bebe Triste " in reference to her sad expression !

The size 9 is the smallest and rarest size of this wonderful dolls with his so sad facial expression !!

She has a extremly hard to see small professional repair at her head which you can see only in a lamp so that it would be a chance to wn this wonderful and special rare dolls for half of her normally price as what you have to pay for a perfect Bebe ... if you can find one :) !!!

So sweet 21" ( 54 cm ) Bebe which has best quality of pale bisque and painting , pressed bisque socket head with elongated and very full cheeks and chin ! Stunning blue glass paperweight inset eyes with dark eyeliner , fine painted lashes and mauve blushed eye shadow. Brushstroked brows and accented eye corners . Closed mouth with deep modeling and shaded and outlined lips. Beautiful separately modeled pierced ears and original mohair wig over her cork pate.

Head mark size 9 / 21" ( 54 cm )

Has her original French composition and wooden fully jointed 8 ball body with typical straight wrists and riginal body finish .

Her complete condition is generally very good , please note a small professional repair at her head .... you can not see this with your eyes if you see her in person , please see all on my pictures !!!
