Beautiful early French poupee from Huret era around 1858 th. of Blampoix with imposing presence !!
Has wonderful pale and fine quality of bisque and painting , flat un-pierced ears , original sturdy kid body and wearing superb original muslin costume !!!
17" ( 43 cm ) ...rare to find and so beautiful doll with fine pale complexioned bisque shoulder head with dark cobald blue enamel eyes . Has dark eyeliner and delicately painted lashes, lightly feathered brows. Closed mouth with finest outlined lips . Flat un-pierced ears and original blonde wig in condition as is over cork pate .... all original to the doll !
Original sturdy clean kid poupee body with V-shapely torso and gusset-jointing at knees. Has separat stitched fingers and jointing at shoulders and elbows. Light green oval stamp at torso ....
Has all complete generally excellent condition..... head is free of damage , repair , chip or hairline .....Body has two tiny leather hole repair , well done.
Wearing very beautiful original white muslin gown in enfantine style with touch of purple , set of under garments , socks and flat shoes. As finally touch comes Mademoilselle with her beautiful straw bonnet :)
