Rare to find French bisque Bebe by Joanny from France around 1880 / 84 , dolls by this companie are rarely found and was offered and sold at 19th. century in the luxury Paris doll Stores !!!
Beautiful Bebe 20 " ( 50 cm ) has lovely pressed bisque socked head with very plump cheeks , beautiful blue glass paperweight inset eyes with dark eyeliner and fine painted lashes . Mauve blushed eyes shadow and brush-stroked and feathered brows.
Closed mouth with well defined , shaded and outlined lips , lovely modeled pierced ears and pretty original blonde curled mohair wig over original leather cap and cork pate !
Has her original early composition and wooden jointed body with plump limbs , typical large hands and original body finish . The body has small color and neck repair !
Her complete condition is generally good to age , her bisque is free of damage , repair or chip ... note a very fine hardt to see hairline at her fore head which is only to see if you hold a lamp in the head ( please see my pictures ) !!!
Wearing most beautiful original two piece naivy dress , set of under garment , French Shoes and stocking and finally very nice leather cap by Paris Department Store " Magazin de Louvre ".
From one of the prestigious Paris doll stores ....... a very rare Bebe by Joseph Louis Joanny , a model with especially fine bisque and painting , goegous eyes , original body and body finish and finally wonderful original condition which comes from a privat familie collection in France ........
