Most beautiful smaller size French Bebe costume of blue silk and velvet , most hand sewn !!
Would fit well for French or German doll about around 14" / 15" ( 36 - 37 cm ) .... one of a kind and you will never find such the same outfit again.
A beautiful two piece costume with jacket and dress, the jacket of blue silk velvet and pretty blue silk cord trim decoration around edged . Has small inset 3/4 long sleeves with lace decoration around wrist , front and back about longer style. Back of silk velvet and matching over shoulders has it silk shoulder parts which fall down at back side.
The sleeve lose dress has pleated upper front and pretty silk skirt with lace decoration around hem . Finally touch pretty three color silk sash and cord rosettes at each side of front, back and sleeves. The dress is inside full lined of muslin and gauze slip . Dress has back closure with hooks and eyes !!
To complete this pretty outfit belongs a hand made silk satin bonnet to this outfit ...... full of ruffled head with row of lace ruffles around brim. Inside hold always in perfect form with an wire rag and is lined with cream muslin.
Has all complete generally excellent fabric condition from around 1880 / 90 ..... note little lose of the velvet plush .
Dress length from shoulder to hem .... 10" ( 26 cm ) Shoulder to shoulder ......... circa 4,5 " ( 11 cm ) Waist around ........... circa 10" ( 26 cm )
