Rare little bisque head Clown Mignonette with special facial funny expression of hand painting and movable tongue , has original compsition body and clothing !
Small 6" ( 15 cm ) funny clown has pale bisque head with long shape and Polichinell facial expression with extreme long nose , blue painted eyes with single stroke and modeled brows . Has open mouth with unusual movable tongue.....he can put it complete in his open mouth or can stretch them far out .Has modeled high bonnet and modeled hair .
The funny guy has original five piece composition body with painted booties , original body finish.
The complete condition is generally good to age , bisque head are free of damage , chip , hairline or repair !
Made in France at 19th. century and he wears his original silk costume wich has melting parts.
Very unusual and charming expression little clown .... ready to display and enjoy !!
