Outstanding Two Piece French Bebe Costume with Bonnet

Superb one of a kind two piece French Bebe costume ..... couture outfit with matching wire bonnet , would fit perfect for one of your favorite French or German doll about around 18" / 19" ( 46 - 48 cm ) .

Most hand sewn and in generally excellent silk fabric and trim condition from around 1880 .

Pretty French dress of fine striped silk and matching blue satin silk , has hand pleated front of ecru und blue small pleated silk stripes and pretty long jacket with 3/4 long inset sleeves with silk cuffs , has lovely collar around the neckline side and back and a row of ecru lace at front edged give a pretty look.Front skirt of blue silk satin matching to the small pleasted skirt which looks under the dress sides and back .

Back side are pretty ornate with silk rosettes and as finally touch ornate with pretty silk bows at front.

Front closure at side with hooks and eyes , inside fine lined with organza and lace .

To the elegant gown belongs a matching silk satin bonnet with a small rack of wire inside would it hold always in perfect form ! Beautiful ornate with silk velvet front and silk flowers bouquet . Inside lined with gauze .....
