A Puppet theater or Guignol was offered in France in the Etrennes catalog of " Grand Magazin de Louvre " or " Au Bon Marche " and other Paris Depratment stores at 19th. century. It was one of the most popular toy puppet theater in France and Paris at this times, it is hard to find a nice one in good condition and perfect small size for dolls !
We can offer one of this rare small doll size Theater , lovely antique wooden and paper mache French Guignol about only 21" ( 54 cm ) at highest point , it´s a lovely piece and unique eye catcher for your doll collection !
Of wooden and paper hand made which has original litho print at front and it would be so nice to displaying your antique French or German doll´s in a lovely scene with this Guignol ..... for me it was a lot of fun to create an doll scene and play with it :) !!
Booth sides are movable to folding and included a card board plate with lovely background print.
The complete condition are generally excellent to age !
Total sizes : 21" ( 54 cm ) total high and 12 " ( 30 cm ) widht at front , each side are 5 " ( 13 cm )....
