Outstanding and rare antique French Poupee maple wood day bed with beautiful fittings of fine flowered cotton with matching pillows and mattress.
From France around 1870/75 richly grained maple wooden luxury day bed for your early doll like Huret , Rohmer or similar pretty doll in your collection , it would also very ice for your French or gErman doll !
The bed features superb details of craftmanship including detailed paneling on all sides of the bed canopy. Even where are full covered with fine and soft blue flowered cotton insde lined with different style which fit very well matching together !!
Lovely high bed canopy with gold metal ornament decoration at crown. The bed is fitted lavishly with mattress topper and pillows , has original movable mattress covered by striped linen as well. Four little wooden landing wheels at the lowest edge and has generally excellent condition about age.
The fine cotton has some not disturbing stains and is dusty. Some tiny holes in the wood ... please see my pictures !
In perfect size for an Huret or Rohmer ; in total high about 27" ( 70 cm ) , without canopy at sides 11" ( 28 cm ) and seat height about 6" ( 16 cm ). The total width are 21" ( 54 cm ) and the depth are 11 " ( 29 cm )
