Madames Lafitte and Desirate designed a series of lovely dolls to illustrate contemporary fashion of the early 20th.century . The lovely and rare dolls was made with the background to show the changes in dresses , coats and hats , as well as the moods of the women who wore them !!
Beautiful rare 12,5 " ( 33 cm ) lady with poured wax head with slender face and special elongated throat , fine painted facial features. Original mohair wig and nice padded armature body posed in very elegant manner. Has fine modeled and painted shoes and posed on original velvet covered base which are hand mark by Lafitte and Desirat circa 1913 ....
The pretty doll wears her original fashionable ensemble in purpel and pink velvet with elegand matching bag and muff ....
Has all complete generally excellent condition to age , only a litte dusty and fad light fad color at costume front .
