Very cute block letter marking early Bebe by Gaultier ... France circa 1880 .... in lovely size about 29 " ( 74 cm ) with most beautiful and delicate quality of pale pressed bisque , very cute childlike facial expression and softly blushed complexion, has pretty amber brown eyes and original wig .
A most beautiful premier Bebe which has a professional restauration at her forehead wich are not to see without lamp so that it not disturb her specially beauty !!
A stunnind doll with fine pale pressed bisque socket head of best quality of bisque and all original painting with deep modeling , has large amber brown enamel glass eyes with dark eyeliner and softly blushed eyes shadow , long painted curly lashes and widely feathered brows .
Closed mouth with up-turned kiss lips which are fine accented and outlined , has modeled tongue and an funny dimple chin ! Pierced ears with earrings and her pretty curled original mohair wig but missing cork pate !!
Head mark at back : F. 12 G. (( block letter engrave ))
Here bisque head is free of chip or hairline . Note a special well and professional repair at her forehead ... so as I write before , this is not to see without a lamp !!
The pretty doll has an original French composition and wooden body by Gaultier with typical plum expression and original easily worn body finish . Repaired at her upper leg otherwise in generally good condition to age !
Wearing with beautiful antique pique costume, . Undergarment , stocking and shoes .
I think you can see on my pictures how beautiful and cute she is and that her repair is so well done that it not disturb but allows a much smaller price than if it were perfect !!......
A rare to find premier Bebe ready to display and enjoy and it is hard to describe how stunning she is !!!! .....is she it ????
