Very cute little French character bisque Bebe called " Le Boudeur " .... very popular little girl in her all original condition was found in a attic cabinet of south of France where it was safe stored a very long time. Very sweet girl with sad facial expression so that you have always a feeling that you need to comfort her ...... Beautiful bisque by luminous patina on rosy complexion :) of pouting character model by SFBJ with exceptional sculpting about 15" ( 38 cm ) cabinet size , has bisque socket head with exceptionally plump cheeks and lovely blue glass sleep eyes with painted lower lashes . Painting of feathered brows and cutest modeling of upturned nose tip . She has an closed mouth with fretful lips and sweet dimple chin. Original blonde mohair wig and French composition fully jointed toddler body with side hip jointing. Has original body finish with small color refresh around neckline and at her hand with one repaired finger at each hand. Rare doll boutique label at body back ... please see my pictures !! Head mark ; SFBJ 252 Paris Has generally good condition , note a micro fine hairline at her forehead , it´s not to see without lamb and hard to see if you hold a lamb inside her head...... possible a factory flaw !! Otherwise all perfect bisque .... free of damage , repair , chip or other .... Made in France circa 1912 .... from pretty character series by SFBJ , a doll with the most captivating pouting expression ! Wearing all original antique set of under garment and pretty sunday best silk dress with straw bonnet.
