Rare 13 , 5" ( 34 cm ) German wooden shoulder head doll in excellent condition to age around 1835 / 40 , wearing her beautiful antique costume and bakery peddler basket . She has an wooden shoulder head with black carved hair of original coloring and rare hair style with wavy hair and knots . Beautiful original painting of facial features with kindly expression and heart-shaped mouth . Her head has original finish and an long narrow neck . Original glaze leather hand stitched body and limps with simple cut fingers , filled inside with horse hair and all hand sewn. Note a leather patch at her back .... please see my pictures. Wearing very beautiful and possible original early soft red wool dress with silk trim decoration and bow , lovely straw bonnet and muslin bloomers. Black long stocking original sewn on her legs with ribbon shoes . The conplete doll is in generally excellent condition to age , perfect shoulder head with original finish and good body condition. Lovely clothing with little holes at her dress but it´s not disturbing. Bonnet in condition as is .... Included to the lovely doll is an pretty bakery peddler basket filled with very nice small bakery things which is in generally excellent condition as well !! Rare very beautiful early doll made in Germany possible for the French market , has lovely condition and very nice face expression ......
