Too cute Mademoiselle size 3 Bebe by Emile Jumeau .... France circa 1889 has all perfect and original condition , very fine quality of modeling with shy expression , excellent bisque and painting , original body and pretty original wearing ...... a treasure for each good collection !
An 12 " ( 31 cm ) small pale bisque socket head Bebe has beautiful large blue glass paperweight inset eyes with fine lushly painted lashes , brushstroked and feathered brows and closed mouth with shaded lips . Pierced ears with original glass earrings and very beautiful replaced blonde mohair wig over cork pate .
Head mark at back ; Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 3 ..... and artist checkmark
Her complete condition is generally excellent .... free is free of damage , chip , hairline or repair .... note not disturbing micro tiny factory flaw at one of her eye-brows (( please see my pictures ))
She has her original small size 3 composition and wooden fully jointed body with original body finish and Jumeau mark at back . Her original rubber strings are little lose but we offer her buyer to change the strings in new ones if they prefer .... please let me know then !!!
Wearing very beautiful of antique clothing with pair of under-garment with Jumeau stocking and replaced shoes . Beautiful silk and netting dress with straw bonnet .... she is very cute in her all perfect condition and ready to display and enjoy !
