A very beautiful French Jumeau BeBe called " Bebe Reclame " special offered around 1888 / 90 at one of the Paris Department Stores Samaritaine , Printems , Au Bon Marche and other very popular stores as well !
This specila doll is the pretty standard " Tete" model but with acid-etched mark from the head , she is 15,5 " ( 39 cm ) and has lovely pale bisque socket head of fine and best quality of bisque and painting , with wonderful large amber brown paperweight inset eyes .
Dark eyeliner and richly painted brows and lashes , accented eye corners and shaded nostrils. She has one closed mouth with fine accented lips , pierced ears with factory original earrings and original blonde mohair wig over cork pate.
Head mark at back only ..... 7 and artist check mark and has generally excellent bisque condition , free of damage , chip , hairline or repair !!
The doll has here original French composition and fully jointed body with original body finish . ..... note small color refresh at her hands well done and not disturbing .
Wearing very beautiful with set of antique under garments. Beautiful cream eyelet dress with matching pique coat , lovely antique straw bonnet and original Jumeau stocking with shoes ..... mark " Paris ......Bee ..... Depose "
