Rare Twill over Wood & Bare Feet Mignonette by Simon and Halbig

Rare factory original all bisque bare feet Mignonette with special rare to find body style of twill over wood , made for the French market by Simon and Halbig circa 1880 ..... has exceptional detail of modeling on pale bisque quality , masterpiece of painting and rare bare feet and bisque arms , in factory all original condition included costume !!

Very rare to find 8 , 5 " ( 22 cm ) ..... darling round-faced child has swivel solid dome head on kid - edged bisque shoulder plate , elongated plump throat and very beautiful almond - shaped blue glass enamel inset eyes with dark eyeliner encircling the eye-sockets.

Superbly fine painted lashes on heavy eyelids. Finest feathered arched brows and accented nostrils and eye corners . Closed mouth with accent line between her lips and hint of smile at her mouth , original blonde mohair wig .

Has wonderful and very rare body style of small twill over wood dowel jointing at shoulders , elbows , wrists , hips and knees . Has very beautiful bisque bisque arms with well modeled fingers jointed together with separate thumbs . Slender bisque legs from knees with rare bare feet ......( note that one feet has well done ankle repair ..... very hard to see and so not disturbing )

Otherwise complete generally excellent condition ..... bisque are free of damage , repair , chip or hairline .... perfect fingers !!

Wonderful all original Mignonette by Simon and Halbig and wearing original costume of blue and cream strips cotton with lovely trim decoration and bustle at back. Muslin under wearing ...........and straw hat !!
