~~~ Marvelous French Bebe Silk Costume with Lace Bonnet ~~~

I offer today a very special one if a kind couture silk costume with lace wire bonnet ..... most hand sewn and wonderful ornate with hand made silk cords and hand embroidery lace from the 1880 century. Would fit perfect for circa 19" ( 48 cm ) French or German doll.... Jumeau , Steiner , Bru , FG , Eden Bebe or other.....

It is in typical Jumeau like couture style of green gray silk with hand embroidery lace and silk ruffled front , small high neck and both sides in jacket style. Inset two color puff sleeves with small lower part with lace ruffles and beautiful silk cord decoration. The back side are with longer train in back which falls over the skirt . Beautiful box pleated silk skirt with lace slip inside and hand embroidery lace decoration at front, back and one side of skirt. Around edged ornate with hand made silk cord and back closure with hooks and eyes. Inside lined with gauze and pretty silk slip !!>b>

Finally touch for this elegant costume is an couture lace bonnet wich would held always in perfect for with on small rack of wire inside.Has rows of small ruffled lace and pretty hand embroidery lace parts large ruffled at brim. Cream silk ribbon rosettes and on pretty silk flowers bouquet ornate the brim and it is inside lined with gauze !

Dress and Bonnet in generally excellent fabric condition from 1880...century , never to find such the same again !!

Shoulder to shoulder ............ circa 6" ( 15 cm )

Waist around ........... circa 14" ( 36 cm )
