Splendid Eyes French Bisque Bebe by Gaultier with Doll-Shop Label

We are very pleased to offer this especially beautiful Bebe by Gaultier , made in France circa 1885 ...... , has most delicate pale bisque enhanced by fantastic sculpting and painting with splendid large eyes and pretty large size about 28,5" ( 74 cm )and rare original Doll - Shop label on body...........

She has on pale bisque swivel head of best quality with very plump cheeks and beautiful large blue glass paperweight inset eyes with darker iris rims and dark eyeliner . Finest painted long lashes over modeled eye-lid and rose- blushed eye shadow.

Brush-stroked and feathered brows and small open mouth with fine shaded and outlined lips with rare two row of tiny porcelain teeth between her lips. Sweet dimpled chin and pierced ears .........

Wonderful blonde soft curled mohair wig over cork pate and head mark at head back ; 11 F G ( in scroll ) and 11 at neck front

Original large French composition and wooden fully jointed body with plump limbs and original body finish . At back of the body you can find on label of on Paris Doll - Shop where the doll was sold at the 19th. century...... " À la tentation Guyot ........ 5. Place de la Republique ...... "

All complete generally excellent condition , bisque head free of damage , hairline , repair or other problem.... note a very tiny earring hole chip.

The body has small problem at the feet but also not disturbing , please ask about special pictures.

The pretty doll is wearing very beautiful with set of antique under garments and wonderful pale green antique silk sateen dress with matching silk velvet and straw bonnet . Socks and shoes ............
