Superb " Toilette de Poupee " Salon in Box

We offer to start as the new year a very special and rare to find all original " Toilette de Poupee " in box , attributed by ~~ Au Nain Bleu ~~ on Luxury doll shop in Paris about around 1890 .

All complete in generally excellent condition and a wonderful and rare piece which look´s like on luxury pouppe Toilette Salon ......

A wooden box 17" x 13" x 7" ( 43 x 33 x 18 cm closed ) .... although unsigned but has original marbled paper cover which was typical in this style used special for " Au Nain Bleu " around the 19th. century !!

The box has pretty lid decoartion of gilt - lettering " Toilette " and girls on litho picture . It hinges open to reveal unusual fitted interior with wonderful hand painted gilt mirror and also here litho pictures as both sides of original gauze curtain decoration at lid .

On pretty toiletry contents included porcelain washbowl and pitcher set of blue and lavender with delicate flowers decoration an elevated part at back of the box. Otherwise included are pretty small paper boxes with angel litho decoration , towels , perfume bottles and much more of small things.

On beautiful light blue silk rug and matching tufted silk poupee stool belongs also to the box interior .

I decorate it with my Jumeau poupee model .... which don´t belongs to the box but I´m sure you will find the right Poupee or perhaps small Bebe for this in your collection.
