I´m not on expert about this gorgeous Japanes Doll´s but as I saw this beauty I fall in Love immediately.
I never saw before such so a beautiful girl of the rare Japanese Ichimatsu doll´s.
I think she is from Japan around 19th. century .... weraing all original with three piece different pattern silk crepe kimono.
Has wonderful colors and is in good condition to age.
The doll is 26" ( 66 cm ) with gorgeous face ecpression ....look´s like on older girl or on joung adult women.
I think she has on Papermache head covered with shell , pretty small inset glass eyes and finest painting of face expression.
Closed mouth and gorgeous original hair style of black real hair with finest head piece decoration fully of velvet orchids and other flowers.
Has original construction of all wooden body with movable legs , feet and arms.
All in very good condition with original shell finish and finest details of fingers and toes. Note a small damage at one of her ears ...please see it on my pictures.
We found this pretty doll in a box , her head was lose ...I´m not sure if this is original and so we sell it so as we found it. A special and marvelous piece for your good collection....
