Beautiful only E.J. mark Bebe by Emile Jumeau size 7 ( 19" / 49 cm ) from first period by Maison Jumeau , wearing stunning original condition .
A stunning Bebe of the first period from around 1878 on era of " Gold Medal" award at the Paris Exposition produced only short time at this type ! She has very delicate pale pressed bisque and very beautifully painted features , original body and body finish and wearing wonderful original silk costume with bonnet !!
The doll has finest quality of pale pressed bisque socked head with beautiful brown glass enamel inset eyes , has dark eyeliner and fine painted lashes. Pale rose blushed eye shadow and brush-stroked and feathered brows. She has closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips and little space between lips with dimpled corner. Separately modeled and pierced ears . Sweet dimpled chin and beautiful curled blonde mohair wig over cork pate.
Has incised head mark at back ..... 7 E. J. and artist check mark

Original French composition and wooden eight - loose - ball body with original body finish and straight wrists with typical large hands. Body mark at back with Jumeau stamp .....
She has generally excellent condition .... free of damage , chip , repair or hairline .
Wearing very beautiful with set of antique under garments , socks and French shoes by " Alart ", wonderful original silk costume with high brim silk velvet bonnet .
