Rare found of oustanding antique French bisque character boy by SFBJ .... has lovely sculpting expression with very well defined characterization on best quality of pale bisque and painting , deep modeling , original body and wearing nice clothing !!
The rare doll comes from the transition periode from Maison Jumeau and SFBJ group )around 1900 in France
18" ( 38 cm ) cabinet size rare character boy with pale bisque domed socket head has very small blue enamel glass inset eyes , finest painted lashes over modeled eye-lid . Modeled and fine feathered brows , wonderful deep modeling of dramatized mouth with modeled as open close though in crying expression with shaded lips and row of upper porcelain teeth and two teeth below before his sculpted tongue .
His bisque head are pale with un-pierced ears and lovely pale coloring hair with excellent sculpting details .
The lovely guy has his original French composition fully jointed body with original finish and he is in generally excellent condition.... perfect bisque , free of damage , hairline , chip or repair !!

The rare doll is nicely costumed with under skirt , socks and French shoes. Wearing four piece boys outfit included blouse and matching bonnet .
