Beautiful rare to find French bisque character Bebe ... called " Bebe Francais " from Maison Jumeau circa 1888 / 90 created at the same time as Jumeau constructed his rare 200 character series and the " Bebe Francais " got the same facial expression from the same mold which was used by the 225 model !!
This unusual model from Jumeau about 27" ( 68 cm ) has special rare facial character expression of finest quality bisque socket head with deep modeling and pretty blue glass paperweight inset eyes . Dark encircling eyeliner , painted lashes and brush - stroked and multi-feathered brows. Has accented nostrils and eye corners , closed mouth with outlined lips . Pierced ears and a lovely long brunette wig .... missing cork pate.
Her bisque is generally excellent in condition , free of damage , chip , hairline or repair . To note a old micro top layer chip in her glaze , not disturbing and caused by removing her wig .

She has here original French composition and wooden fully jointed body with original body finish in good condition to age , has small color refresh at her arm and leg balls ...
Wearing very beautiful with blue and ecru striped silk gown , nice set of undergarments with stocking and French rose shoes. Finally a lovely bonnet ....
