Most beautiful antique plaid cotton and silk complete costume for Bebe Jumeau about around size 8 or 9 , has generally excellent condition from France circa 1885th.
Most beautiful two piece costume which looks a couture outfit by Maison Jumeau ....all hand sewn dress with bonnet.
Has lovely color in red , green and blue with rounded neckline and lovely ruffled row around the upper part. Ruffled front and large puffed long sleeves. Box pleated skirt and lovely silk sash with Christmas flowers bouquet .
The dress has back closure with hooks and hand made loops , inside full lined with gauze and gauze slip with ruffled hem.
To the dress belongs a lovely matching rounded bonnet with lovely decoration of silk bow and Christmas flowers tendril . Inside lined of soft gauze and stiffened one around the head.
Wonderful all original antique costume for your Jumeau Bebe or other pretty doll in your collection !!
Total dress length from shoulder to hem ........ circa 12 " ( 31 cm ) Shoulder to shoulder ........... circa 4,5" ( 12 cm ) Waist around ............... circa 14" ( 34 cm )
Has generally excellent condition to age , to note two or three tiny holes in the dress and bonnet but all not disturbing !
