Madames Lafitte and Desirate designed a series of lovely dolls to illustrate contemporary fashion of the early 20th.century . The lovely and rare dolls was made with the background to show the changes in dresses , coats and hats , as well as the moods of the women who wore them !!
Lovely little lady with poured wax head , has slender face posed in angular manner. Has lovely painted facial features with blonde mohair wig . Very slender elongated body with padded armature allowing stylish pose and with fine modeled and painted shoes. Rare sitting position on her original tufted Salon pillow ....
9" ( 23 cm ) at total high included velvet salon pillow , has enerally very good condition to age with surface dustiness on wonderful silk clothing and fine accessory decoration with tiny wax flowers ....
