Very cute rare all original model Figure " C " Jules Steiner Bebe size 0 ...... 14,5 " ( 42 cm ) from " Maison Bail " Paris doll boutique and toy shop at 1885th. which was located in Paris ~ 210 Rue de Rivoli ~ . The shop was specialized about dressed poupees and Bebes ....society games and other !
Very beautiful cabinet size Bebe has superb quality of pale bisque and painting , original signed Steiner eyes with wire - lever sleep mechanism ,closed mouth and original Steiner body with label of the fine Toy shop " Maison Bail " in Paris!!
Beautiful pale pressed bisque socket head with very sweet childlike and little sad face expression of best quality of pressed bisque and painting , has rounded facial shape and wonderful blue original Steiner glass eyes ( mark 0 Steiner ) with rare lever sleep mechanism which works perfect .
Finest painted lashes , rose blushed eyes shadow and brush stroked and feathered brows. She has pierced ears with factory original earrings and close mouth with full outlined lips .
Head mark at back .... S . C. 0 and red stamp mark " Steiner Bte SGDG / Bourgoin ....
Her head condition is all generally excellent ........ free of damage , chip , repair or hairline !!Note a not disturbing tiny factory flaw pale imperfection at her neck ... please see my pictures.
She has a very nice blonde mohair wig over original purple Steiner pate and original Steiner composition fully jointed body with typical banana hands and original body finish , boutique lable at back !
