Especially beautiful and rare expression early Bebe by Schmitt et Fils , has gorgeous facial expression with stunning blue eyes and wonderful painting , finest quality of pale pressed bisque , original rare early Schmitt body and finally pretty original clothing!!
From early period around 1882 / 85th. we offer this wonderful 22,5 " ( 58 cm ) by Schmitt et Fils , a gorgeous Bebe with pale pressed bisque socket head with wonderful expression , plump cheeks and deep modeling of pressed bisque!
She has dramatic almond - shaped deep blue glass enamel inset eyes with rich threading , dark eyeliner and fine painted long lashes . Mauve blushed eyes shadow and feathered brows. Closed mouth with deep modeling of outlined lips , lovely modeled pierced ears with factory original earrings and gorgeous blonde mohair extended mohair wig over original Schmitt et Fils pate ... mark 4 and engraved crossed hammer!
She has her original early composition and wooden all jointed body with straight wrists with big hands with separate fingers , body has muscular calf and original body finish ! The flat cut shaping are mark with crossed hammer punch .
Here complete condition is generally excellent , bisque free of damage , repair , chip or hairline and her original body is generally excellent as well !!!
Her bisque head is marked with 4 at back , attributed by Schmitt et Fils because of her known and typical facial expression !!
Superb original wearing with set of under garments with blue stocking and French ecru leather shoes by " Alard" . Beautiful cream soft woolen gown with blue embroidery and finally pretty silk bonnet as finishing touch .....( Possible all original clothing to this super Bebe ) .... note some holes in the woolen gown .
