A rare to find larger size three piece elegand poupee costume from France circa 1878 /80 for an larger Fashion doll about around 24" / 25" ( 62 - 64 cm )
Most hand sewn of fine pale pink ( light faded )cotton with silk trim and lovely lace decoration . Features an elegant shaped jacket with fitted waist ornate with lose waist sash and long shoulder puffed inset sleeves .
Has front and collar decoration of fine lace like around sleve wrist wrists and stand up collar , back closure with hook and eyes.
Beautiful flat front skirt has lace decoration middle part with waist pleats to suggest fullness at each front and side , back side are longer train in back with voluminous bustle . Has finally fine lace edge all around the skirt hem.
The sash are beautiful ornament brooch with angel decoration.
Stunning rare larger sice French poupee outfit would fit well for larger fashion doll ..... has shoulder width of 6 " ( 16 cm ) and waist around circa 12 " ( 31 cm ) , skirt length at front circa 15 " ( 38 cm )and back circa 17" ( 43 cm )
Generally excellent condition to age .... only little dusty and faded color parts , look´s un washed.
A wonderful and rare size to find all original antique poupee costume for larger fashion.....
