Rare all wood body smiling poupee by Maison Bru with beautiful facial expression of the very popular " Empress Eugenie " lady doll from one of the best French doll company at 19th. century !! Beautiful expression model of 17 , 5 " ( 45 cm ) rare smiling poupee with " Mona Lisa " face , has very choice bisque and exquisitely painting , original rare all wood body and wearing marvelous her antique afternoon costume. France by Leon Casimir Bru Paris .... circa 1870 Mademoiselle has an finest pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate , stunning ocean blue inset glass eyes and finest painting of long lashes and feathered brows. Closed mouth with upturned lip corners for her lovely smile on her mouth. Pierced ears and original mohair wig over cork pate . Head size mark at back by Bru blockletter with F On her original full articulated wooden Bru body which are offered an always elegant posing option like a true mannequin , has jointed even at her wrists , waist , shoulder and elbows, hands , legs , knees and feet. Only tiny missing finger tip otherwise her beautiful and rare body has generally excellent condition to her age as you can see on my pictures. Her original wearing is most beautiful and her fantastic gown speaks for herself.... in wonderful afternoon costume with large bustle back and in blue color matching to her eyes with matching bonnet . She wears a set of under garments , stocking and replaced leather shoes . Her stunning dress has condition as is , I think you can see it well on my pictures.
