Beautiful expression poupee model of 16 " ( 41 cm ) wonderful smiling poupee with " Mona Lisa " face , has very choice bisque and exquisitely painting , original body with wooden arms and wearing marvelous antique cashmere and silk costume. France by Leon Casimir Bru Paris .... circa 1870 / 72 Mademoiselle has an finest pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate , stunning light blue inset glass eyes and finest painting of long lashes and feathered brows. Closed mouth with upturned lip corners for her lovely smile on her mouth. Pierced ears and original mohair wig over cork pate . Head size mark at back by Bru blockletter with E Generally excellent sturdy and clean kid body with gusset jointing at hips and wooden arms with delicate hands and perfect fingers , dowel-jointing at shoulders , elbows and wrist by Maison Bru .... Most beautiful wearing with two piece antique Fashion costume , straw bonnet , set of under garments , stocking and leather shoes . Her complete condition is generally excellent and all original ............ with perfect bisque , free of damage , chip , hairline or repair ..... note a not disturbing and hard to see small factory flaw pale bright spot at her cheek .
