Rare French Bisque Triste or Long Face Bebe by Emile Jumeau

She is one of the most beautiful and childlike expression Long Face Bebe from Emile Jumeau known as " Bebe Triste" that we have to sell at the last years !! A rare model was designed and sculpted in France around 1885 by the great French artist " Carrier Belleuse " on commission from Maison Jumeau and is now known as " Bebe Triste " in reference to her sad face expression !

A gorgeous French Bebe which has best quality of luminous bisque and excellent painting of pressed bisque socket head but not perfect because of an professional very well done and with your eyes not to see repair at left head side until the neck socket area. [[[ Please note my pictures or let me know if you need more or special pics !! ]]] Her exquisite face expression and painting are not affected by her perfect restoration and it will not disturbing hear beauty !!!

Dreamy facial expression with elongated and very full cheeks and chin. She has beautifully blue glass paperweight inset eyes with dark eyeliner , fine painted lashes and mauve blushed eye shadow. Brushstroked brows and accented eye corners . She has an closed mouth with deep modeling and shaded and outlined lips.

Beautiful separately modeled pierced ears and she has an pretty dark blonde mohair wig which are not original to hear over cork pate. Head mark size 12 (( 26" ( 66cm ) )

Has original French composition and wooden fully jointed 8 lose ball body with typical straight wrists and Jumeau body mark at back .

Wearing superb antique French pink silk satin dress with finest hand embroidered lace decoration , stunning pink muslin high brim bonnet with fit perfect to her dress and complete the childlike look . Set of under garment with Jumeau stocking and shoes by this company ....... Gorgeous and rare 26" ( 66 cm ) Bebe with finest quality of bisque and so sad face expression , has original body and body finish and wonderful costume. Because well done very hard to see bisque problem she has only a fraction of her normal price !!!
