~~~ Rare French R.R. mark Bisque Bebe in Original Costume ~~~

Very rare to find special doll attribute by Emile Jumeau at France circa 1890 as a special commission with initial mark R.R. remain a mystery !!! You can find special information about this rare doll in " The Jumeau Book by Theimer / Theriault on page 340 " This model was made only a very short time and it is very hard to find a doll of this mystery mark !!!

The lovely happy face Bebe comes from a private house of south side of France in his pristine fresh condition because she was preserved around 100 years there in a wood box by " Au Bon Marche" the Paris Department Store .

Having beautiful creamy bisque of best quality and lovely painting , she has her original wig on pate and superb original clothing of rose silk dress with lace trim , rose high brim silk bonnet , undergarments , rose stocking and brown leather shoes .

23,5" ( 60 cm ) doll with bisque socket head , has lovely brown glass paperweight inset eyes with dark eyeliner and lushly painted dark lashes. Has pale blushed eye shadow and brush-stroked and feathered brows. Special her happy face expression catch your heart with the lovely smile at her open mouth with shaded and fine outlined lips . Has row of porcelain teeth and pierced ears with factory original earrings in pink. Original red blonde mohair wig over cork pate .

Rare head mark at back .........engraved R. 11 R. ( Artist check mark )

Finally original French composition and wooden fully jointed body with straight wrists and original straight legs with original body finish.

The rare doll has all complete generally excellent condition ..... her bisque head is free of damage , repair , chip or hairline !!!

She comes in her wood box where she was preserved so many years and bring along a small box filled with her hair-comb, brush and hair clip which was a gift from her little owner before.
