Exceptional Rare Antique French Pair of Wax Dolls all Original

Possible one of a kind all original condition pair of poured wax head dolls from France around 19th. century , preserved in a antique box , special rare to find and a treasure for each collectors !!

It was a rare and fantastic found in a antique wood box ............ all original costumed pair of poured wax head dolls , depicting an adult lady and gentleman perhaps " le Comte et comtesse " in all original condition . Each around 17,5 " ( 45 cm ) with poured light honey wax head with finest details of modeling face expression and painted facial features. Both dolls has silver white mohair wig in original hair styling and an dainty French paper-mache and composition fully jointed body with original body finish.

Each doll are all original wearing of couture costume , Monsieur has a fantastic silk velvet suit with silk vest , stocking and leather shoes with heels and Madame a superb costume of finest blue cotton with pink silk dress , silk stocking like Monsieur and white heeled leather shoes . Finally a rich set of under wearing of muslin and silk ......

Both costumes are complete hand sewn and complete the elegant appearance of the two dolls .

Made in France and together in generally excellent condition to age ..... body strings of both dolls are loose but contiguous otherwise generally excellent to age. The costumes are hand sewn on the body of the dolls , the fabrics are fragile so that we would not undress , thank you for your understand !! Melting at the silk ...........

The two dolls was preserved for many ... many years in a French antique wooden box and they will remain in it and comes with the box to the new owner !!!!
