It´s a very beautiful one of a kind french silk costume with has the elegant look with matching high brim bonnet. Fit perfect for French or German doll about around .... 24" ( 62 cm ) for Jumeau , Steiner , FG , Bru or other beautiful doll in your collection.
Most hand sewn of rare midnight blue rib-textured and matching color velvet silk upper part in jacket style with rounded neckline which has silk velvet collar and an pretty middle part with wonderful button . The dress has long ruffles sleeves with puff at each shoulder and silk velvet wrist . Fine hand made lace ornate the neckline and front . Pretty made back side with longer train and wonderful cream silk bow decoration. The back are fine pleated at middle part. Wonderful skirt of hand embroidery French lace and ivory silk , as finally part an nice muslin slip with pleat decoration . Front closure with hand made button holes and two hook at side to close the skirt. The jacket are fine lined inside with striped silk and as finally touch has it a French store label sash inside .
A complete hand made high brim wire bonnet belongs to this wonderful and elegant costume..... it´s made from the same midnight blue rib-textured silk with ruffled and pleated outside and brim , inside fine ornate with cream silk and the same hand embroidery lace like the skirt of the dress. A small rack of wire inside hold the brim always in perfect form , the hat is fine lined with cream muslin . Finally ornate with silk ribbon and pretty silk flowers bouquet ..........

Elegant and one of a kind .... never to find such the same outfit again and it is in generally excellent fabric and lace condition from early 19th. century..... note small melting parts at the silk ribbon from the bonnet but not disturbing.
