~~~ Petite French Teenager Smiling Poupee by Leon Casimir Bru ~~~

Rare to find small pouppe of smiling Bru ...... an teenage version of the very popular " Mona Lisa Bru " Poupee of one of the best French Doll Factory in Paris at the 19th. century !

This very rare small model about 13" ( 33 cm ) of the wonderful smiling poupee has very choice bisque and exquisitely painting , original body and marvelous antique clothing.

Finest bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate , has lovely small blue inset glass eyes and finest painting of long lashes and feathered brows. Has closed mouth with upturned lip corners for her lovely smile on her mouth. Pierced ears with original pink earrings and original dark blonde mohair wig with factory hairstyle over cork pate .

Head size mark ............... C

Original small kid body with gusset jointing at hips and wearing very beautiful antique gown with under skirt , lovely straw bonnet , set of under garments , socks and heeled booties .

Generally all original condition ............ with perfect bisque , free of damage , chip , hairline or repair. Note little fingers repair and one small patch at her right wrist.
