~ Lovely " Jolie Bergerie " Presentation Box with Etrennes Catalog ~

Lovely 12 " x 10 " ( 30 x 25 cm ) hard board Presentation box with decorative green and cream paper covers and nice litho illustration of little shepherd with his dog and lamb.

Inside the box contained a paper lined separate division filled with 8 little paper mache lambs with fleeced flannel coats in different sizes and a nice similar dog .

The middle of the box contains a lovely 9" ( 23 cm ) size 1 Denamur Bebe in his all original costume , has bisque socket head with blue glass inset eyes and fine painting lashes and brows. He has a open mouth with outlined lips and brunette mohair wig . The lovely doll has an five piece composition and paper mache body and wears his original country style clothing with straw hat and shepherd's staff .The costume are original sewn on his body and the little sheeps and the dog was never remove from the box.

All complete in generally excellent condition , the doll is free of damage , repair , hairline or other problem. Has only tiny color problem at his hands but not disturbing !

Included to the box belongs a rare original Etrennes Catalog of Paris Department Store " Au Bon Marche" ........December edition, which show different play things and other goodies .

The " Jolie Bergerie " was listed in different Etrennes catalog`s at 19th. century in Paris ........
