~~~ Lovely Early French Poupee with Original Clothing ~~~

Very beautiful expression 17" ( 43 cm ) French Poupee from around 1865 / 68 with rare body style , bisque under arms and wonderful antique costume .

She has pale bisque rounded swivel head with original bisque shoulder plate , has pretty face expression with blue glass enamel eyes with outer rim , dark painted eyeliner and fine long painted lashes. Feathered brows and inside the head pierced flat ears . Closed mouth with hint of smile at her fine accented lips. Dimpled chin and pretty blonde mohair wig over cork pate.

Original rare body style ...... a combination kid-over-wooden and kid French poupee body by " Mathilde Terrene " !! V - stitched kid torso with kid over wooden upper arms and beautiful modeled bisque arms to above the elbows with pretty curled fingers . ....... beautiful to hold her arms in elegant pose !!! Gusset jointing kid upper legs with kid over wooden dowel jointing at knees .

As you can see on my pictures ..... she is in attic condition , her rare body as some kid repair ( please ask about extra pictures ), her beautiful bisque arms and hands are perfect without any problem or repair. Here bisque head has a fine hairline at side , not to see with your eyes and hard to note in a lamp ......otherwise is the head free of damage , repair or chip . Perfect shoulder plate ........... Wonderful antique clothing with set of under garments with socks and shoes , stunning three piece poupee outfit with muslin blouse and white soutache trim decoration pique skirt and matching jacket. The little bag don´t belongs to the doll......

She is not perfect but beautiful and a treasure for your collection..... rare face expression and body !!! In perfect condition she would cost a mutch more money..... :)
