Very beautiful and rare to find 5" ( 13 cm ) all bique Mignonette attributed by Schmitt et Fils , has lovely pale bisque , very cute face expression , rare body style with ball jointed elbows and bare feet .
France circa 1880 ..... of very pale bisque and has swivel head with elongated throat an kid edged bisque torso . Beautiful blue glass enamel inset eyes with fine tiny painted lashes and dark eyeliner , one strip brows and closed mouth with dark painted line between her fine shaded and accented lips.
A masterpiece at painting !!!!......
Original blonde mohair wig with tiny curls at front and rare peg - jointed bisque arms and legs with additional rare ball jointing at elbows and rare bare feet . Hard to see signet at back .... " B ..??? " attributed by Schmitt et Fils
Good condition to age ... around 1880 .... free of hairline or damage !!
Note a tiny factory flaw fire line at head join side , tiny chip at one of her upper leg and an repair at her right hand , this was broken and has well done repair ! Please see her small problems on my pictures ... all are not disturbing !!
She comes with her vintage mignonette costume , under garments and bonnet .
