Rare and very cute size 1 Bebe by Emile Jumeau .... France circa 1888 in all perfect condition , has very fine quality of modeling with shy expression , excellent bisque and painting , original body in petite size and pretty antique clothing !
The 9" ( 23 cm ) tiny bisque socket head Bebe has beautiful large blue glass paperweight inset eyes with fine lushly painted lashes , brushstroked and feathered brows and closed mouth with shaded lips . Pierced earrings with Jumeau factory original earrings and original light brunette mohair wig over cork pate .
Head mark at back ; Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 1 ..... with artist checkmark Generally excellent condition .... free of damage , chip , hairline or other problem. Note micro tiny pale nose tip .....
She has her original tiny size 1 composition and wooden fully jointed body with original body finish and Jumeau mark at back : Jumeau Medaille d´Or Paris Emile Jumeau ....
