Very Beautiful Fashionable Poupee with all Wooden Body for French Mark

Very beautiful and rare poupee .... circa 1875 ... with very beautiful face has gentle expression of pale bisque and lovely painting , rare body style and gorgeous clothing !!

14" ( 36 cm ) stunning all original rare poupee with pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate , full cheeks and almond shaped blue glass inset eyes , thick dark eyeliner , very fine painted lashes and arched feathered brows . Closed mouth with outlined lips and inside the head pierced flat ears. Dark blonde mohair wig over cork pate .

Rare leather covered all wood poupee body with superb modeled bisque arms to above the elbows . Has well modeled fingers and fine painted nails . The all-wooden body has shapely torso , dowel-jointing at shoulders elbows , hips , knees , and wrist.

Comments : France circa 1875 with Simon and Halbig head for the French market ....

Generally excellent condition , best quality of bisque which is free of damage , repair , hairline or chip !! Perfect finger condition !! Body condition good to age .... please see my pictures .... limbs are little lose.

Wearing all original with stunning lace and muslin costume , matching under dress , muslin under garment, socks and black leather shoes. High brim bonnet .... Included a lovely little head box .
