Very nice display piece for your larger French Bebe or German doll ..... an all original antique French " Courrier " from France at the 19th. century.
A lovely light brown leather harness which is pretty ornate with on real fur covered horse head with glass eyes and fine leather harness . Has two small leather ears and well modeled expression , otherwise pretty decorate with little bells and metal ornaments . Has woven cords at each side for the rider !!
At the 19th. century you could found this harness in different decoration and they was offered in the Etrennes catalogs by Paris Department Store " Printemps " .... called there as Courrier cuir .
Rare to find at this days and a nice piece for your doll collection .... Total length without cords ...... 25" ( 63 cm ) and total length of harness ....... circa 13,5" ( 35 cm )
