Lovely Attic Condition French Bisque Poupee with Rare Body

Lovely attic condition 14" ( 36 cm ) Gaultier Poupee with more childlike face expression of pale bisque swivel head and kid-edged shoulder plate , deep blue glass enamel inset eyes with dark eyeliner and painted lashes, feathered brows and closed mouth with outlined lips , pierced ears .

Original shoulder plate mark FG at one shoulder and 1 at head back . Has original early kid and wooden body with dowel - jointed shoulders with pretty bisque arms and fine sculpted fingers . Gusset jointing at hips and knees .... leather covered wooden joints at knees .

France circa 1868/70 .....

Complete attic condition : The bisque head has on very fine hairline at back , hard to see without lamp ..... otherwise generally excellent and free of damage , repair or chip. The shoulder plate is also free of damage or repair but note her also on very fine and hard to see hairline over the right shoulder. Rare body style with repair at both hips and color repair at front and shoulders , some glued .... but all together not bad !!

The pretty bisque arms and fingers are generally excellent and free of problems.

We sell this doll so as we found it and I´m sure this fashion would be a little beauty if she get on nice wig and pretty clothing.... she look´s like as on little jung girl for your elegant Fashion !!
