Rare Articulated Parisienne Doll by Julien Ernest Pannier

Very beautiful and rare to find early all original Poupee by Julien Ernst Pannier .... like " Leon " Pannier , France around 1865 / 68 with special rare body style of first artistic Parisienne doll with very beautiful bisque limps , most beautiful face expression and original antique costume.

She is on amazing and elegant 16" ( 41 cm ) poupee with early pale bisque swivel head by Eugene Barrois which has rare flat - cut neck socket that attaches to original shoulder plate in a manner to allow the head to turn only side to side and rather than 365 dagree swivel .

Has beautiful round face expression and cobalt blue glass inset small eyes with dark eyeliner and fine painted lashes and feathered brows. She has on closed mouth with center accent line between her fine outlined lips. Flat and un-pierced ears and wonderful original brunette curled mohair wig over cork pate.

Special rare to find articulated parisienne body ...... having metallic articulations skeleton inside which are covered with cotton wool and finally with cotton suit which look´s like a part of her under garments.

Her fine bisque modeled hands and feet´s are amazing with special fine details ..... note a tiny toes chip at her left feet but not disturbing. Here body joints moves well ..... some at little heavy , possible to give her very elegant posing with arms and legs !!

Here complete condition is generally excellent ..... bisque head and shoulder plate are free of damage , chip , hairline or repair .... same like her amazing and delicately bisque hands and feet.

She is wearing very beautiful with antique costume ....... sleeve lose blouse with bustle skirt and matching silk velvet jacket which is rich ornate with tiny glass pearls trim , set of under garments with socks and heeled shoes ( some melting parts at her early silk shoes )

Special beautiful and rare to find French poupee with rare neck articulation , very rare body by Pannier and very fine antique costume with shoes.
