Very beautiful two piece early period fashion silk gown of two piece , one very pretty afternoon skirt with blouse ..... all complete hand sewn and in generally excellent condition .
On very beautiful outfit for on poupee like Huret , Rohmer or similar early fashion doll , of splendid silk taffeta in light brown color with tiny interwoven checkered pattern of pale purple . The skirt featured a wide fitted waistband with shaped front from which emanate two band over the shoulders and the skirt is formed of wide box - pleated around the entire waist.
Ornate at hem , waist and upper part with pretty purple silk velvet trim matching color to the skirt strips. Fully lined inside with cream muslin ...........and closed at back with hook and hand made loops.
Included is on white batiste blouse with fine lace trim decoration at edges , has long puff sleeves and delicate cutwork at front and back side. To closes also at back with tiny button and hand made loops.
Appropriately sized for 16" / 17" ( 42 - 44 cm ) Huret style poupee , both in generally excellent condition
