Miniature Doll House Chambre in Original Presentation Room-Box

On pretty 16" x 7" x 8" ( 41 x 18" x 21 cm ) wooden box with light brown paper cover , front wall to open to reveal three sided room and floor of on 19th. century Mignonette chambre .

Inside fine paper cover at each wall and floor , two corner decoration with curved front canopies .... one prepare as window .... and on rose silk satin box pleated draperies with fine rose silk curtains . The pretty room is fitted with a very elaborate of pale blue painted wooden furniture , decorated with elegant gold paper edging and some colorful floral decoupage.

The pretty bed has beautiful rose silk satin and lace bed cover and pillow matching to the room curtains. The nine piece furniture set also included on nice Lady desk with mirror and fine accessory , on table , on pedestal table and four rose silk satin upholstered chairs.... two with arms !

Finally on feet chair and on pretty rose silk satin carpet with hand embroidery romantic-scene .

This style of Mignonette rooms was knowed as " Chambre a´Coucher de Poupee " and was offered in the 1905 Etrennes catalog of Grand Magazin de Printemps.

Made in France at 19th. century with maker unknown !!

Generally perfect condition to age ..... note a small missing part of card board at box lid and on small repair at one of the chairs.
