Beautiful Large French Bisque Bebe by Rabery and Delphieu

This is one of my favorite Bebe´s .....

one very early and large doll by Rabery and Delphieu from France circa 1880 with gorgeous large eyes and beautiful painted features and in wonderful and rare large size of 29" ( 74 cm )

Very stunning doll with bisque socket head of first period with beautiful large amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes which are dark eyeliner encircles the eye-cut .

Fine painted lashes and pretty rose blushed eye-shadow , incised eyeliner , brush-stroked and multi - feathered brows .

She has on closed mouth with light rose shaded and outlined lips , pierced ears and pretty dark blonde mohair wig over cork pate.

Head mark at back ; R . 4 D .

She is free of damage , repair or chip , note a fine stable old hairline at her head side ( please see my pictures ) complete covered by her wig !!

The doll has her original early French composition and wooden fully jointed body with pretty lage hands and original body finish , blue body stamp mark at back ; Rabery and Delphieu France Small body repair and color refresh parts .... all not disturbing .

She is wearing very beautiful with hand embroidery eyelet pique dress with pink silk ribbon decoration, pale rose under dress , blouse with hand embroidery and under-wearing. Finally on very pretty pink silk bonnet and pink silk socks.....sorry no shoes !!

She is so on beautiful large size Bebe ..... I love here wonderful eyes and features with dimpled chin , hear original early massive body and the complete dreamy expression !!!!
